responds, but I agree that he has usually been very prompt in handling
his correspondence. Let's hope for the best, i.e. he's on a nice long vacation with his significant other or some such. Whether or not you use espeak you should recognize the tremendous value of his work. He has given us a program that is easy to work with, and for folks who speak lesser known languages espeak may be the only existing solution for synth speech. Espeak's small, cross platform, free and portable. I'm not sure if its tone can be well adapted to handle some languages as well as it does English, but at least it gives ppl something that they can use to work on developing a new and revolutionary software synth.
